Over the past 13 years Algy Brinton has been working as a professional photographer shooting on over five continents, from the Jungles of Africa to the desserts of the Middle East, within the Arctic Circle and in a number of conflict zones.

Throughout the last few years Algy has been working on a new personal project titled ‘Anthropization’.  The project is a photographic study of the human condition through the landscapes that we create.

In 2011 Third Millennium International published Algy’s first book, titled ‘Twice the Man’.  The book follows a pictorial year in the life of The Grenadier Guards (the most senior regiment of the British Infantry) from their sacrifices in the poppy fields of Helmand Province, Afghanistan to their ceremonial duties at The Queen’s Birthday Parade at Royal Horseguards, London. The first copy of this book was presented to the Colonel of the Regiment HRH Prince Philip upon his 90th birthday.

Since 2007 Algy has been working on a series of independent projects with both military and corporate clients including Disney, The British Fashion Council, the MOD and BBC. In 2002 following on from his studies at the London College of Printing Algy started work as an assistant for Warren Du Preez and Nick Thornton Jones; as two of the modern masters of fashion photography they taught him what was achievable through great photography over an invigorating four year period.
